Happy Burns Day to any readers with Scottish heritage.
We've just had a formal address of the haggis at work by our boss, Graeme "Groundskeeper" Shellard, and very impressive it sounded too. To me at least we English don't have the cultural cool of our Celtic neighbours.
A nice Kiwi touch that it was cooked on the barbie, but tasted genuinely spicy.
Fair fa' your honest, sonsie face,
Great chieftain o' the Puddin-race!
Aboon them a' ye tak your place,
Painch, tripe, or thairm:
Weel are ye wordy of a grace
As lang's my arm
Are you sure that's Day and not simply a queer case of nighttime?

Oops, quite correct, it's Burns Night isn't it? Stupid sassanach I am.
